Terms of Use

1. Agreement

If you do not agree, do not use Noxyro. We may update these terms; the last-updated date will change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. If a change is material, the revised terms apply going forward.

2. The service

Noxyro is a free, browser-based entertainment app. You may record or upload a short local video, select a segment, and receive an Aura XP score generated on your device. There are no accounts. Video is not uploaded to Noxyro.

Features depend on your browser and device. Camera, microphone, codecs, sharing, and export APIs can fail; Noxyro provides fallbacks where documented but does not guarantee every feature on every device.

3. Entertainment only

Aura XP and related labels are entertainment. They are not professional, scientific, medical, psychological, or biometric identification results. Noxyro does not evaluate attractiveness, personality, gender, age, emotion, or mental state. Do not use Noxyro for employment, education, credit, insurance, law-enforcement, or other decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are in the EEA or UK, you must also meet your country’s age for consent to information-society services (14 in Spain; 16 in some countries) or use Noxyro only with a parent or guardian. You must have the legal capacity to agree to these terms.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the clips you record or select and for complying with recording-consent, copyright, publicity, and privacy laws that apply to you. Do not use Noxyro to analyze people who have not agreed, to harass, to infringe others’ rights, or to break the law.

Challenge links are public if you share them. They only carry a score and Judge version and are not proof of identity or of a genuine result.

If you share files through your operating system, you choose the destination. Noxyro is not responsible for those third-party apps.

6. Privacy

The Privacy Policy (linked in the footer) describes how information is handled, including on-device processing, hosting logs, and optional analytics. By using Noxyro you also acknowledge that policy.

7. Intellectual property

Noxyro, the Noxyro Judge, Aura XP branding, and the site’s look and code are owned by the operator or licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

You keep any rights you already have in your own video. You grant Noxyro no license to your media because Noxyro does not receive the file. If you publish a share card or challenge link, you are responsible for that publication.

8. Optional support

Ko-fi support (https://ko-fi.com/davidgarciab) is voluntary and processed by Ko-fi, not Noxyro. It is not a purchase of the app, not a paywall, and not a contract for specific features.

9. Disclaimers

NOXYRO IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Scoring can vary with device, browser, lighting, and camera. Determinism is defined for the same video, trim window, and Judge version on a capable client; it is not a guarantee of identical pixels or of server-side verification.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Noxyro.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or consumer rights that mandatory EU/UK/US state law does not allow to be waived. If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you keep the mandatory protections of your country of residence.

11. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue Noxyro at any time, including Judge versions. We are not obligated to keep historical scores comparable across versions.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except that: (a) if you are an EEA/UK consumer, you also have the protection of mandatory laws of your habitual residence; (b) if you are a US consumer, nothing here waives non-waivable rights under the law of your state of residence.

If a dispute is not resolved informally via [email protected], courts of Spain have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer venue rights you have.
